1. Open Outlook.

2. On the Home tab, select Rules.

3. Select Create Rule.

4. In the Create Rule window, select Advanced Options.

5. In the Rules Wizard: Which Conditions do you want to check? place a check next to with specific words in the message header . At the bottom of the screen, under Apply this rule after the message arrives, select the specific words hyperlink

6. In the text box under Specify a word or phase to search for in the message header, type in your full original email address and click Add . The email address will appear in the Search List box. Click OK.

7. At the bottom of the Rules Wizard windows, under Apply this rule after the message arrives, it will show with original_email_address@forsythtech.edu in the message header . Click on Next.

8. In the next Rules Wizard, select Have server reply using a specific message. At the bottom of the screen, under Apply this rule after the message arrives, select the hyperlink a specific message next to “have server reply using”.

9. A window to create the reply message will open. Enter a subject and a message to be sent. Select Save & Close once message is finished.

10. At the bottom of the Rules Wizard windows, under Apply this rule after the message arrives, the subject of the reply email will show next to have server reply using. Select Next.

11. Under Step 1: Specify a name for the rule, add a name for the rule you created. Select the checkbox for Turn on this rule. Select Finish.

12. To check that the rule has been created, click on the Rules button on the Home ribbon. From the popup window, select Manage Rules & Alerts.
